Third Annual Treasure Talk
October 18, 2008
Palace Care and Rehab once again invites antiquers
and collectors to bring in two of their most prized possessions to have them
appraised or to learn more about their history. There will be a fee of $5.00 for
2 items. Participants are encouraged to take a seat and enjoy listening to the
appraisals of the other collectors. Refreshments will be available for those who
wish to enjoy the full event.
Sarah Hawlik, ISA is slated to be the guest appraiser at this
year’s Treasure Talk set for Saturday, October 18 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Webb, a graduate of Tennessee Tech and University of Maryland owns and operates
Vintage Rose Antiques and Webb House Appraisals in Cookeville. She is a graduate
of the International Society of Appraisers Core Course in Appraisal Studies. She
is a member of the Executive Committee responsible for the noted Upper
Cumberland Quilt Festival, participates in Appraisal Fairs, and is a
contributing author to various newspapers and journals on antiques and personal
property appraising. She is a sought-after speaker for groups and civic
organizations and is a member of the prestigious International Society of
Appraisers.
